Product Description

Hands are not unisex.

The women's gloves—for hiking or maintaining—are designed to fit women by Womanswork, a 33-year-old, women-owned company in the A.T. Community of Pawling, N.Y., that has set an outdoor-recreation standard.

Gold/orange/black, they have padded palms with grip, a ventilation panel on the Spandex backs, hooks and loops at the wrist, Velcro closures, and Terry Brow respiration-wiper thumb, with the ATC logo on the outside.

Here’s a comment from one user of a similar pair: “[The] pair I was given for my A.T. hike is hands down the best pair of hiking gloves I own.... I like them primarily to guard against chafe and chill I wore them almost every day for six months of hiking, and many times since. They’re excellent cool-weather gloves and keep my hands warm enough while moving so that I didn’t find I needed anything heavier, and the fact that they’re really breathable made it so that I could wear them even in the heat.... . The fact that Womanswork is a woman-owned company is rad, and that you supported me and other women veterans hiking their... stuff... out on long trails is incredibly touching and makes me proud to be a life-long supporter of your products.”

Sizing: Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, then the length of your middle finger.

Circumference 7-7.5" and finger length 3-3.5" = medium

Circumference 7.5-8.25" and finger length 3.25-3.75" = large
