These gloves—for hiking or maintaining—are designed especially for ATC by Womanswork, a 33-year-old, women-owned company in the A.T. Community of Pawling, N.Y., that has set an outdoor-recreation standard.
The orange/black synthetic leather men's gloves have Spandex backs, hooks and loops, and Terry Brow respiration-wiper thumb, with the ATC logo on the outside.
Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles.
7.5-8.25" = medium
8.25-8.75" = large
8.75-9.5" = extralarge

I wanted these gloves for durability, grip, and comfort while working on trail maintenance. The sizing guide was accurate, and the gloves feel comfortable (and are adjustable). There are no noticeable internal seams (like some cheap gloves) to rub against my tender skin. Can't vouch for the durability yet.
