A full-color replica of Tyler Nordgren's popular poster, centerpiece of our Wild East initiative--an effort to make the greater public aware that the Appalachian Trail footpath is the backbone of more than 250,000 acres of public lands for which the ATC has management responsibility, the longest contiguous protected open space in the East. Not only a key migratory corridor for birds and other fauna, A.T. lands are among the top 10 of national-park units for diversity of natural resources and an unparalleled home to historical and cultural resources from the era of the First Americans through the Civil War and later Industrial Revolution.
Not quite 3" x 5".

It's been a few years since I was last on the AT, and I've missed it. Having this colorful magnet where I can see it daily is a good reminder for me to dust off my hiking boots and get back out to the beautiful outdoors. And I have the matching T-shirt to wear as well!

Experienced some life changes and so i've not been able to get back to the AT for years now. The wild east magnet reminds me and takes me back to the days... Mike
