    Started in Georgia in 1982...

    Posted by L R King on Dec 25th 2022

Began moving around with work so spent many years hiking bits and pieces with a effort to someday hike every mile. Finally on December 6, 2022 I hiked the Maryland section completing my journey. Age 64 and 40 years in the making. Just wish my 1982 hike partner could have been around to join me. Chrissy "LEGGS" Jones...I made it. "YANKIE"

    Great resource!

Posted by Ed S. on Dec 23rd 2021

ATC provides a wealth of information for this valuable resource and it only right to support their effort so that we might continue to have the AT available to us. I was a member of the old ATC 40 years ago and now that I am once again backpacking the AT I am happy to join again.
