This is the neatest gadget ever! Planning on using it for indiscreet lighting at the Church Easter program. I was concerned about the long nights in the tent on the trail but this alleviates the problem by allowing me to read for an hour or two each night without using the glare of a flashlight or worrying with a candle. It will also be useful on the long hikes when I have to set up camp in the dark. I shouldn't have to use it to charge a phone, but with my wife along I never know but it does that also. Hanging it on my pack will allow it to charge while I'm hiking. All around a great answer to the night!
