Membership in ATC
As you might have noticed here, a benefit of membership in the Appalachian
Trail Conservancy is a substantial discount on publications and merchandise.
A second benefit is an automatic subscription to the Appalachian Trailway
News, published five times a year.
But, perhaps the most important benefitfor you, for us, for future
generationsis the contribution your dues make to the continued protection
and enhancement of the Appalachian Trail and its resources.
To join the Conservancy or renew your membership, simply select the proper category in the first pull-down menu after clicking on "Join ATC Now" below
and choose the next two options as you would in ordering a product and add it to your shopping basket. (By joining now, you can use the member prices immediately; we'll make you official by mail later.) If you are a member now, you might consider
membership for someone else: It's a gift you won't find anywhere else!
Send us the person's name and address, and we will ship a new-member
packetan A.T. patch, membership card, and vehicle
decalwith a card noting your gift.

Memberships Outside the United States: Because of the higher
costs of postage to send the magazine, memberships from outside the United States are assessed a
surcharge of $6.00; This fee will be added to your new or

dollars drawn on a U.S. bank or by a charge to a MasterCard, Visa, or American Express
account. We regret these extra charges, but they are necessary to cover the
extra costs of postage and bank fees.
Membership dues and additional donations are tax-deductible as a charitable
contribution. ATC is a Section 501(c)(3) educational organization.
